The Worcester Regional Research Bureau serves the public interest of Greater Worcester by conducting independent research and analysis of public policy issues to promote informed public debate and decision-making.
Since 1988, The Research Bureau has also celebrated the unsung heroes of public service. The Thomas S. Green Public Service Awards highlight those municipal employees that provide outstanding and exemplary contributions to government and the community. This prestigious award is open to all municipal employees in the Greater Worcester region, except department or division heads.
We invite members of the public, business and civic leadership, government employees, and elected officials to submit nominations by February 26, 2016. Nomination forms are available on The Research Bureau’s website (www.wrrb.org) and can be emailed to gro.b1539618183rrw@o1539618183fni1539618183.
A Review Committee will consider all nominations and select the winners who will be recognized at a ceremony on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Assumption College.
