About 40 percent of Worcester County residents eligible for government food benefits don’t receive them, according to findings presented on an interactive website from the Worcester Regional Research Bureau.
The site, which updates a food insecurity interactive report and portal first released late last year by the Worcester Regional Research Bureau, was highlighted at a Worcester Community Food Assessment summit held Friday, featuring state and federal representatives.
