Where are Worcester’s Woes?

A city’s government should serve its people. A unified resident service system — such as that represented in the 311 data found throughout this StoryMap, “Where are Worcester’s Woes?,” — allows residents and visitors to the city to easily and closely interact with government officials and to more effectively (hopefully) solve their problems. Requests to Worcester’s service system are probably the closest that many residents and visitors to the city get to actually interacting regularly with their government. Responses to those requests likely determine how residents feel about that government, the people that it employees, and their representatives in it.
