WORCESTER – Nominations for the Isaiah Thomas Award are now open.
The award is named for printer Isaiah Thomas, who published the Massachusetts Spy newspaper here in 1775, after fleeing from Boston at the onset of the American Revolution.
It honors community leaders who unselfishly devote their time and energy for the benefit of others without the expectation of reward or acknowledgment.
