Worcester voters recently passed a nonbinding ballot question indicating they favor the siting of a gambling casino within the City. The Governor’s promise to use gambling proceeds to repair the Commonwealth’s aging bridges and roads, along with targeted property tax relief, is more than welcome. But at what cost?
