In a new study by WalletHub, Massachusetts ranked as having the best school systems in the country.
The study said it took a comprehensive approach, rather than focusing primarily on academic outcomes or school finance. The website states that this study accounted “for performance, funding, safety, class size and instructor credentials.”
Massachusetts was first in “quality” rank and “safety” rank, leading to the first overall. Connecticut was second and New Jersey, Vermont and New Hampshire were in the top 10.
