As body camera footage of the brutal attack of Tyre Nichols by five police officers in Memphis sparks protests across the country, the Worcester City Council will discuss policing closer to home at its Tuesday meeting.

Councilor At-Large Khrystian King put four items on this week’s city council meeting agenda relative to the Worcester Police Department.

In the items, King requests an update on the department’s racial equity audit and the implementation of its body camera program.
