Bureau Brief—Serving on Worcester’s Boards and Commissions

The City of Worcester’s ‘Boards and Commissions’ play a key role in local governance by allowing residents to participate in their community and provide essential ideas and opinions on a number of topics. This Brief details the various boards and commissions in the City of Worcester, including a table of current members by district (as of April 26, 2023). In Worcester there are currently 34 Boards and Commissions with a variety of vacancies from each district. While not every board and commission has a vacancy, there are several with seats waiting to be filled.
