Based on our research, The Research Bureau believes it would be unwise to implement the proposed regulations for the following reasons:
• There is widespread consensus among economists that restricting the number of medallions is detrimental to the public interest.
The Research Bureau serves the public interest of Greater Worcester by conducting independent, non-partisan research and analysis of public policy issues to promote informed public debate and decision-making.
